If you have found your way here, I am truly sorry that your journey has not brought the baby you hoped for.

Letting go of the baby dream is not easy.

Ending your fertility journey may leave a deep sense of loss, grief, and uncertainty about what the future holds. You may be experiencing a range of emotions and wondering “what next?”, “who am I, if not a parent?” Or you may even be relieved that you can now move forwards to the next phase of your life.

Be assured, you don’t have to go through this alone. I get what this feels like, as I have been there.

Life After IVF offers a safe, supportive space to honour all that was and support moving forward in a way that acknowledges and celebrates you. Together we might explore

  • Processing grief and its many related emotions

  • Navigating relationships with partner, family, and friends

  • Reconnecting with yourself by exploring meaning and identity beyond fertility and parenthood

  • Exploring the future by clarifying what is most important to you based on your values

  • Creating rituals that honour the endings, and help plan stepping into the future

  • Anything else that you need to move forward

Counselling

  • Exploring your thoughts, emotions, and stresses in a confidential one to one setting may be helpful in identifying areas of your life that need healing and the possible obstacles to moving forward.

Being heard and giving yourself permission to freely voice your concerns, fears, anxieties, stresses, hurts, hopes, and a myriad of other feelings may be the step you need to help make positive choices in moving forward as you build your new / different normal.

Individual sessions are 60 minutes.   Session Fee is AUD$150.00

  • Now that you have ended your fertility journey, you may want to look at what the future holds.

There may have been stress and strain on your relationship during the IVF journey. It is also possible that your relationship may have become stronger through the ups and downs of treatment.

Whatever your experience, the fact that you’re here shows that there are areas you may wish to explore. Whether it is processing the past or moving forwards, couple’s counselling provides a safe, supportive space to connect and talk openly.

    Together, we might explore:

    • Processing your IVF journey

    • Grief and loss in its many forms

    • Honouring yourselves as individuals and as a couple

    • Relationship rescue (if needed) – understanding different grieving styles, improving communication, and exploring hopes and dreams for the future

    • Creating a meaningful future together

    • Any other issues you may wish to address

Couple sessions are 90minutes. Session fee AUD$270.00

Please note – Life After IVF does not provide intimacy coaching / therapy

  • Sometimes you may just want to bounce ideas off someone who knows you and has been a part of your journey.

    A short check in may

    • help prevent small concerns becoming overwhelming

    • provide clarity and perspective

    • encourage continuity of care for ongoing reassurance and grounding

Check-ins may give you the space for venting, validation, assessing if deeper work is needed, or maybe celebrating your progress.

If you are a past or current client, just book in using the booking form or email me to let me know your needs.

    Session fees AUD$75.00

Personalised Workshops & Supportive Programs

  • What it is

The time during the lead up to the transfer of the last embryo and waiting for results can be one of many mixed emotions and stresses.

My intention is to help you feel less alone as you navigate this time of hope and uncertainty.

This is a supportive series of counselling sessions co-designed by client and therapist.

    This may include

    • Setting goals – thoughts, feelings, behaviours

    • Working through feelings

    • Self care – what do you need to get through this week

    • Honouring yourself and any previous losses

Investment - AUD$120.00 per session which includes one 50minute video counselling session and one check in text on a day of your choice.

  • Deciding to end treatment can leave a profound sense of loss that may seem ambiguous without a way to mark the ending.

This workshop is designed to help

    • acknowledge and process grief

    • create your own unique way to honor the endings and step into new beginnings

    • It is designed as a 2-hour workshop, where we will explore your grieving styles, current ways to process and honor yourself, and preferred ways to create a meaningful ritual or a series of rituals.

Please schedule an introductory call first so we can assess what you need and how to move forward.

Workshop fee AUD$350.00 for the 2 hours.

You may want to do this as an individual, couple, or have support people join you. It would be preferable to have no more than 4 people at the workshop.
